Amybeth McNulty (born in Dublin the Irish city of Dublin) is an Irish Canadian actress. She is known for her role as the main character Anne Shirley in the CBC/Netflix drama series Anne with an E, based on the 1908 book Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Amybeth McNulty, born 7 November 2001, is daughter of her Canadian father as well as an Irish mother. Amybeth McNulty was born Ireland on the 7th November 2001. In 2023, she will be due to turn 20 old. Her birthplace and education was on the island of Donegal in Ireland. She is dual Irish and Canadian citizenship. It is said that she has blonde hair. Anne was also in a tense relationship to Gilbert Blythe who was two years older than Anne but studying at her grade after having his education stopped when his father fell sick. On their first meeting in school, Gilbert was known to tease Anne by calling her Carrots. Amybeth McNulty stars as Anne thirteen-year-old, who endured an abusive childhood in orphanages, as well as homes of strangers.
